Be still my beating heart…
It has officially been announced that B1A4 and TEEN TOP will be added to the continuously expanding roster of talent appearing at this year’s KCON. They join the likes of IU, VIXX, CNBLUE, Girls’ Generation, and BTS.
B1A4 burst onto the Korean music scene back in 2011 with their single O.K., and they haven’t stopped providing quality entertainment ever since. Most recently, they were awarded with the Popularity and Bonsang Awards at the Seoul Music Awards as well as the Disk Bonsang Album Award from the 28th Golden Disk Awards. They also had a comeback earlier this year with their single, Lonely, and it was received with rave reviews.
TEEN TOP is a 6-member group that debuted in 2010 with their first single album, Come Into the World. Their first single was entitled Clap, and they quickly took the KPop world by storm with their precise, knife-like choreography. They headlined in last year’s KCON as well, performing crowd favorites such as Rockin’, Miss Right, and Hey You.
KCON has been growing exponentially since its start in 2012, and last year’s attendance doubled in comparison to the showing at its first event. It has been upgraded to a 2-day extravaganza (in comparison with last year’s 1-day event) and is chock full of opportunities to meet your favorite artists (meet-and-greets, photo ops, etc.), see them perform live, attend celebrity panels and fan workshops as well as participate in gaming competitions and contests.
